Ms. Sharmila Jalan, a teacher of the Hindi Department of Modern High School for Girls  was invited by the prestigious India Today group for their annual literary fest 'Sahitya Aaj Tak' conducted by 'Aaj Tak TV on 18th February, 2023 at Swabhumi, Kolkata. She was invited in the capacity of a novelist to share her views on the topic 'SAHITYA KA STREE PAKSHA'. It was a multifarious event based on drama, literature, politics and other cultural topics. Further, Ms. Jalan was invited to the Little Thespian’s 12th National Theatre Festival 'Jashn-E-Azhar' as a speaker and delivered a lecture on 'Natya Lekhan: Stree Hastakshep at Gyan Manch on 20th March, 2023.
