Students who fall back in certain subjects are helped to reach the required standard through a variety of strategies including peer mentoring, supplementary assignments and administration of non-threatening improvement tests to assess progress.
MHS discourages external tuition.
If a student wishes for academic support from her own teachers beyond school hours, permission needs to be taken from the Principal.
MHS offers remedial lessons in Mathematics and this is embedded in the regular timetable.
