Career counselling at the school level is a structured process that helps students explore various career options, understand their strengths and weaknesses, and make informed decisions about their future education and career paths. MHS has a dedicated Career Counselling Cell that handles Letters of Recommendation, Predicted Grades, transcripts, and other confidential documents. It involves guidance from trained in-house professionals who assess students’ interests, skills, and aspirations to suggest suitable career choices.

Career counselling is typically offered through one-on-one sessions. Students schedule appointments to meet with the counselors after school or during breaks. The aim of career counselling is to help students identify their interests, skills, and career goals, guiding them toward setting realistic aspirations and preparing for a smooth transition to higher education or the workforce.

Career guidance at MHS starts in Middle School, with detailed discussions on subject selection at the Class 9 level. By Class 10, there are in-depth sessions with teachers and alumni to inform students about ISC subjects. Every Class 10 student meets with school authorities, who assist in choosing their ISC subject combinations.

Career Fairs by admission officials of various international and Indian universities are arranged to provide students with valuable insights into different career paths, helping them align their academic pursuits with their long-term goals.

The career cell facilitates the Job Shadowing Programme where students are able to shadow professionals at work and gain insights about the professional nuances and intricacies of the job. This helps them to bridge the gap between learning and experiencing.

There are Master Classes organised for each Elective of Grade 12. The Master Classes are conducted by subject experts or professionals who give students a taste of higher educational knowledge going beyond the regular curriculum. This helps students to get accustomed with the academic rigour lying ahead of them.
