    All students are being automatically withdrawn from all clubs and special classes they were enrolled in 2023-24. A fresh Google form will be released soon for enrollment into clubs which means that  if students want to continue in the same clubs, they will have to enroll again.

    The fresh list of clubs and special classes for 2024-25 is shared on School website. Kindly look through carefully before you fill the Google form. We are hoping to bring in more professionals, create more in -field experiences through the cocurricular activities.

          PROCESS OF APPLICATION TO  CLUBS / SPECIAL CLASSES/ MOVEMENTS :2023 – 2024

    FAQs:

    1. Will all students be automatically removed from all clubs / special classes at the end of the academic session AS IS THE CURRENT PRACTICE?

    1. No, there will NOT BE ANY AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL. The existing members will continue in the  new academic session 2023-2024.

    1. Does it mean a student MUST stay in the same Club/ Special Class every year and cannot change?

    1. Of course they can change but this has to be done SPECIFICALLY. 2 steps for this:

    1. The email for withdrawal from club should be sent  to the Club/ Special Class email ID on or before 07 April , 2023. In case you do not receive an acknowledgement of your email for withdrawal within 7 days, please let  CCA know  ONLY by email : cca@mhsforgirls.edu.in.

    At the same time, please understand that if withdrawal is not done within the deadline, the name will remain with the club automatically and this means automatic charging by Accounts office and one club already blocked off against your daughter’s name.

    Please fill in using your daughter’s id.

    1. What is this Club/ Special Class EMAIL ID?

    1. This is the CHANGE. Each Club/ Special Class will have its own identity email address eg MASK will be mask@mhsforgirls.edu.inso that emails meant for withdrawal or any information reach the correct club/special class mail box and do not get missed. The entire email list will be on the website under clubs/special classes for  your help but you can also use common sense logic and understand : it is   club/special class id@ mhs domain id. Please look at the example given—it is fairly easy!

    1. Should I keep CCA in copy of each and  every  email?

    1. Absolutely NOT—this is the very chaos of each year that we are trying to sort out! Please write to CCA ONLY if your withdrawal form has not been accepted by the club involved within 7 days. This information is being reiterated under this point as CCA gets random emails that take weeks to untangle.

    Also absent notes are to be sent to club ids only – there is no need to flood the CCA inbox with cc and definitely no direct email about absence should be send to CCA as CCA  will NOT forward any emails to clubs/special classes/ movements.

    1. How long will the Google Form for JOINING remain  open?
    2. The Joining Google form is open till 30 April, 2023.
    3. Where will the information about Clubs /Special Classes/ Movements  be found?

    1. Details of schedules  and email ids  are on MHS  Website under Senior Tab -please go to Co curricular Activities tab under it. Please note that the fee structure is for students of the National Curriculum only.

    1. What are the most important points about Clubs/ Special Classes that feel complicated and get  recurrent queries ?
    2. A.
    3. Forms will not be accepted after the deadlines indicated.
    4. Acceptance into clubs/classes:
      i.   Will be done on the basis of auditions/trials/first come first served, as applicable.
      ii.    Students may submit forms for multiple activities but will only be allowed to be a part of two activities.
    5. An email will be sent to guardians informing them of acceptance of their ward into respective clubs/special classes ( in case of new activity only) . Student will subsequently require to provide a number whereby she can be inducted into the club WhatsApp group.
    6. Club and special class activities will commence from 17April ,2023.
    7. 65% attendance per term is mandatory. Inadequate attendance will lead to removal from the club roster.
    8. Fees for chosen activities will be billed in the second quarter of the session. In case of expulsion, billing will continue.
    1. Please apply  also to  “safe option” clubs/ Special classes / Movements in order to not be disappointed. We want MHS students to be part of Co curricular activities but all societies must have ceilings for effective management. FYI, the following clubs/ special classes movements that  have NO screening.

         ACADEMIC SESSION 2021 – 2022

    *     *  Club activities will be conducted on the virtual platform till further notice.

    *  To continue an activity or take up a new one in the session 2021-22 a joining form must be submitted. 

       

    •        *  The joining form will be available on the Senior School tab on the School website from 15thMarch till 30th April 2021. Forms should be submitted via mail to the advisor mail ids provided in the Club Details sheet.

    •        *  Details of advisors/schedules and club attendance rules are also provided .

    •        *  The joining form, duly filled should be submitted within thefollowing dates:

    1.         Classes 6 to 9  : 30th  April 2021.
    2.         Class 11 (ISC & IBDP): 15th May 2021

                  Forms will not be accepted after the deadlines indicated.

    *   Acceptance into clubs/classes:

    1. Will be done on the basis of auditions/trials/first come first served, as applicable.
    2. Those who were part of a club/activity in the previous session will not be required to go through the selection process.

    •       *   An email will be sent to guardians informing them of acceptance of their wards into respective clubs/classes ( in case of new activity only). She will subsequently require to provide a number whereby she can be inducted into the club Whatsapp group. Activities will be virtual till further notice.

     

    •       *   Club and special class activities will commence from 16thApril 2021.

    •       *   65% attendance per term is mandatory. Inadequate attendance will lead to removal from the club roster.
