NOTICE REGARDING HOME DELIVERY OF BOOKS FOR CLASSES VII TO IX

In this present situation, it will not be possible to open Bengal Stores or for you to come to collect books from the school campus. However, we understand that your children will require the books for reference, especially during the summer break. We are therefore taking the following steps: -

(a) Home delivery of books is being coordinated only for those students who have paid for the books online on or before 02 May 2020. In case any student has not paid for the books till now, there are still are two days to make the said payment. There will be no extension for online payment for books from Bengal Stores beyond 02 May 2020.

(b) Books will be delivered by an agency, provided delivery is allowed / possible in your area of residence. The agency will be charging Rs 95/ - as delivery charges, which is to be paid by you while taking the delivery. In case any book received is extra / not wanted, please don’t return the same to the delivery vendor. All unwanted / extra books, which are unused, can be returned to Bengal stores, once school reopens and Bengal stores will refund the money /change the book.

(c) To ensure that the books have been delivered to the correct address and as a receipt for us, the person receiving the books must sign the challan and write the students Ref No. so that we are sure that the books have reached the correct recipient.

(d) The books are expected to be delivered in the 2nd week of May 2020.

(e) After the 2nd of May, a Google sheet will be shared with the parents who have made the payment asking for the address at which they want the books delivered. Please fill in the same correctly. The details along with the books will be handed over to the delivering agency.

These are difficult times. Please bear with us, as we endeavour to provide the best solutions possible in the prevailing situation.

Stay safe.
