21st June is celebrated as World Music Day. It originated in France and was first celebrated in Paris in 1982. Since then, its popularity has spread and now World Music Day is celebrated on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries, across the world. This year, the students of Modern High School for Girls celebrated the day with a musical extravaganza where students from Classes 6 to 12 rendered their versions of melodious tunes from across the globe.
