On 23rd and 24th of November, 2022, the Class 9 students of Modern High School for Girls visited the Headquarters of State Bank of India in Kolkata and explored the carefully curated museum and archives that chronicled the history of banking in India.   The students interacted with Dr. Ramakant Hoom, the Chief Archivist to learn about the evolution of banking and the transformation of currency in the course of the economic development of the country.   The educational trip enlightened the students through an interdisciplinary method of bringing together two vastly different subjects, namely Mathematics and History.
