Modern High School for Girls organised a Soap and Candle Making Workshop for the students of Class 8 over the month of September'24. It was an attempt to expose the students to a dynamic curriculum  where life skills and community service are woven seamlessly into the school programme. Keeping in mind the practices being highlighted by NEP, 2020, this workshop aimed at enhancing the spirit of enquiry with a focus on the application of the concepts learnt in Chemistry, Mathematics and Art. They were also exposed to the entrepreneurial skills related to sales such as pricing and packaging. The workshop was conducted by Mrs Nita Diwan who is an MHS alumni and the Founder of UNMISH, an NGO working tirelessly with children with special needs.
