The students of Modern High School for Girls celebrated Rabindra Jayanti on 9th May, 2023 or the 25th day of the Bengali month of 'Boisakh' to commemorate the 162nd birth anniversary of Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore. From heart- touching musical renditions of songs and dance to recitations of his brilliant literary pieces by the students, it was a humble effort on the parts of the faculty members and the students to celebrate the multi-faceted artist whom we acknowledge as the Bard of Bengal. Tagore evokes a plethora of emotions in all of us through the immense beauty of the artistic compositions in his oeuvre and will continue to thrive in our hearts as we remember him through his creations.
