After winning the local round of the International German Olympiad 2018 held in association with the Indo-German Teachers Association (InDaF)

 in January, Yukta Raj (Class XII A, President of Deutschind club) and Mayukhi Ghosh (Class X B, member of Deutschind) got selected for the National round held from 14th to 16th April in Delhi. 

They not only won the National Round but are also the only two finalists to be representing India for the International Round to be held in Freiburg, Germany in July 2018. This is the first time that any student from Kolkata got selected for the International round. Also the first time that both the finalists are from the same city and the same school.
