BITM had organised a really informative lecture on the life of Dr. Har Gobind Khorana on 15 th July, 2022. 15 students from classes 9 to 12 were allowed from various schools. The lecture was from 11am -12.30pm. The students were taken from school at around 10.30am.

Prof. Ambika Charan Banerjee, associated with the Royal Society of Chemistry gave an insight into Dr. Khorana’s exhilarating journey through life.

Dr. Khorana's research was based on cracking the genetic code, which students of 9 and 10 found a little difficult to understand. The lecture was more suited for class 11 and 12 students. Overall the experience of the students was good as they were inspired by the groundbreaking work done by an Indian origin Nobel Laureate.
