Modern High School for Girls hosted the DAG Art Lab pop-up museum of Indian art and History from 18th - 29th July, 2022 displaying 18 artworks from the Bengal School of Art. Students of Art, History and Legacy Club participated in the event which included three workshops that culminated in an in-house exhibition of artwork created by the participants. The workshops revolved around looking at Bengal art as entry points into critically understanding the process of mythological, historical and journalistic narratives and how they shape our engagement with society. Students were encouraged to build interdisciplinary bridges between visual arts and other social science disciplines. Guided walk-throughs were also organized for all students from classes 6-12.
