Students from Classes 6-12 of Modern High School for Girls embarked on an educational excursion to Epic Agro Products Private Limited, Amta, organized by the Clean Club on 9th November, 2024. The visit provided a firsthand experience of how the factory operates while showcasing its eco-friendly practices and commitment to sustainability. An informative video followed, giving the students a comprehensive overview of the processes involved. Afterwards, the students were taken on a guided tour of the factory’s various operating areas. The enthusiastic employees demonstrated, step by step, how the company treats wastewater, manufactures ‘Campa Cola,’ and implements its eco-conscious practices. Students were particularly impressed by the recycling of wastewater, the use of solar panels, replenishment of underground water, and the purification of industrial wastes before being safely released into the environment. Additionally, the factory’s rainwater harvesting system was highlighted as a key measure to conserve water resources. The excursion not only provided a valuable educational experience but also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility among the students.
