The Class 12 students of Modern High School for Girls went for the batch trip to Shanktiniketan and Murshidabad from 5th to 8th November, 2022. They visited the Shantiniketan Museum and were enlightened about the rich historical and artistic background and the intellectual hub that Shantiniketan had been in years gone by. The students enjoyed the artistic creations and handicrafts of the local artisans when they got the opportunity to visit Sonajhuri Haat. Their stay concluded with a musical performance of folk songs by Bauls.

At Murshidabad, the students visited Imambara, Hazarduari and Jahan Kosh cannon. Overall it was a trip that gifted the outgoing batch of 2022-23 a treasure trove of memories as they explored the rustic jewels of rural West Bengal.
