Modern High School of Girls held multiple versions of 'Awareness of Growing Up Sessions' for the students of Classes 6 -12. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Madhurima Vidyarthi, Dr. Gitashree Mukherjee and Dr. Gargi Banerjee. Discussions were held on topics varying from anatomy and hygiene to the physical and mental changes associated with growing up and what it means to be a woman. The transition from childhood to adolescence to becoming an adult is riddled with misinformation and these sessions were aimed at enlightening the students about the myriad experiences that they will go through and providing them with a safe space to interact with experts in the health sector.
