Austausch 2023 was held in the Month of January, 2023  with 22 Students of Class 7 of Modern High School for Girls  and 22 Students of  Ricada-Huch-Gymnasium, Germany in collaboration with Goethe Institut Kolkata under the Pasch Programme. In this month-long virtual exchange programme the students showed great enthusiasm in working with each other and exchanging ideas in the course of three online workshops. The theme of the Project was Unsere Erde ist verletzlich – Wie können wir sie schützen (Our earth is vulnerable - How can we protect it?). The focus of the project was given mainly to the reduction Carbon Footprint, sustainable living and the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) The students also worked on how to bring about eco-friendly changes in their lives in order to contribute to the conservation of our planet for the sake of the future generations. The exchange programme provided exposure to the students to global issues and enabled them to think responsibly and take a step towards becoming conscientious and empathetic global citizens.
