OFF LINE classes - Class 5

We are delighted to announce that as per Government directive, we are ready to cautiously start calling students back to school to attend classes. This will only be twice a week for the remainder of this academic session and only after that will we be able to make more long term plans. We are finally optimistic that a change is close.

All Class 5 students are expected to attend school from next week every Tuesday & Thursday only. School timings for all students will be from 9am to 12.40pm. On the remaining 3 days of the week (Monday, Thursday Friday) they will continue to have online classes, in exactly the same manner as before.  This is only till the end of this academic session.

Kindly note the following

1.       Students must wear their correct school uniform, cardigan and shoes, with hair neatly tied.  Incase the uniform does not fit students may wear their PT outfits for this term only.

2.       All books, stationery etc must be carried in the regulation school bag.

3.       Students must be punctual and go straight to the garden when they arrive.

4.       Dispersal – please be at the No 4 gate about 5 mins earlier.  No ID cards are required.

5.       All students should wear a mask at all times (they could use a spectacle chain to keep it from falling)  and must keep a spare one neatly in their school bags.

6.       There will be no school canteen. Students should bring their own light tiffin and must have their own water bottles – though drinking water will be available.

7.       Students will currently not be allowed to go to Bengal Stores during school hours.

8.       They could carry a small bottle of sanitiser with them and have a handkerchief in their pockets.

Additional information will be put up on the Classroom stream or on Whatsapp.   We request parents to take the time to discuss protocols with each child.   Though they will be monitored, we expect them to be careful and responsible for themselves.

We are all excited and eager to have our young students back in school again and look for your continued support in bringing  discipline, regularity and the joy of school back into their lives.
