Saanvi Fatehpuria, a Class 8 student of Modern High School for Girls participated in the National Cooking Competition organised by Heritage Girls' School, Udaipur and secured the Third Position in the 'Desserts' category. The participants were judged by celebrity chef Vicky Ratnani, Ravish Mishra, the Executive Chef of Leela Palace, Udaipur and Mr. Tushar Bhandari, the CEO of the Heritage Group. She won the medal by presenting a Biscoff Thandai Cake, a fusion cake which incorporated both traditional and western elements. It was a perfect hands-on experience for the young chef where she learnt professional plating as well as the employment of all five senses during cooking with a variety of ingredients.
