Sanvi Atul Sharma, Class 9 B, who was shortlisted in the John Locke Essay Competition, has been awarded a Merit in the Junior category.

Myopia Session

Modern High School for Girls organized an interactive awareness session on myopia for the students of classes 6 to 12 on 16th September, 2024. It enlightened the students about the cause and effects of myopia relating it with the prevalent issues of over usage of electronic devices.

Subject Orientation for Class 8

Modern High School for Girls organized a Subject Orientation for the Class 8 students and their parents on 4th December, 2024 in order to facilitate informed decision making on their part about subject selections in Class 9. It was a highly engaging and interactive session where subject specialists provided students and parents a comprehensive overview about the various subject choice combinations and their associated career prospects.

Story Telling Session

An interactive Story Telling Session by Farzana Parvin was organised on 5th December, 2024 for the students of Modern High School for Girls. An ex-student of MHS, she is a published author and spoke about the process of publication of books.

Book Reading Session in Senior Library

A book review session on 3rd November, 2023 was conducted in the Senior Library of Modern High School for Girls by Farhanaz Parvin of Class XII who published her book ” A drop of reality”. Girls of XI B attended the review and enjoyed the session.

Class 12 Batch Trip – 2023

The Class 12 students of Modern High School for Girls visited Bishnupur for their Batch Trip on 30th September’ 2023. From visiting the famous terracotta temples and the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Purakriti Bhavan.

The Class 12 students of Modern High School for Girls visited Bishnupur for their Batch Trip on 30th September’ 2023. From visiting the famous terracotta temples and the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Purakriti Bhavan which is a museum to trying out delectable local cuisines and shopping for dokra art works, it was a memorable trip which allowed the students to create memories galore while exploring rural Bengal.The students also interacted with clay artisans in a workshop where under the patient guidance of the artisans, they had the hands -on experience of creating various clay items.
