Palak Roy of Class 6 of Modern High School for Girls has been awarded the Dolly Kaur Trophy for the Best Sportsperson for the Session 2024-25.She has won the Bronze in 100m in CISCE Athletic Meet and participated in the Nationals as well. She also represented South Kolkata District at 68th West Bengal State School Games'24 in Atheletics Under 14 Girls category and won the Gold medal in 4X100m Relay.
Kolkata International Quiz Festival
Riddhima Chakraborty, Nayantara Ray and Aratrika Misra of Class 8 of Modern High School for Girls participated in the Kolkata International Quiz Festival on 8th January, 2025 that was held at Victoria Memorial.MHS secured Third Position defeating 28 esteemed institutions in the city.

The members of the Clean Club of Modern High School for Girls spent a leisurely afternoon in the school garden where they engaged in the scientific activity of labelling the trees and plants in the garden using botanical nomenclatures. It was an engrossing session which led to exploration, research and discovery of the variety of flora in their immediate vicinity.
