Showcasing My Year 2025 – 2026

Modern High School for Girls implemented a new initiative, “Showcasing My Year” for Classes 6 to 9 and 11 during the concluding week of the Academic Session 2025-26 which was a week-long student-led reflection on learning. This was envisioned as a reflective platform where students presented the learning that they had meaningfully assimilated over the course of the academic year. This initiative was not mark-centric and instead, it foregrounded learning that had made deep sense to the student—knowledge they had internalised, interpreted, and made their own. Students presented their learning through projects, models, artwork, demonstrations, presentations, or other creative forms. The showcase was presented before peers, teachers, and parents, reinforcing the idea that learning is a shared and dialogic process. Parents were invited to participate as thoughtful listeners—asking questions, encouraging reflection, and appreciating the individuality of each student’s learning journey.
