Two students and teachers of Modern High School for Girls attended a session at ‘Psycon 2026’ on the topic ‘Understanding Challenges in Learning During Adolescence’ organised by Manovikas Kendra on 11th September, 2026. It was an enriching and insightful experience, bringing together doctors, psychiatrists, teachers from ICSE, CBSE and West Bengal Bengali-medium schools, students, parents and counsellors.
The participants were divided into three groups, teachers, students and parents, for separate interactive sessions with doctors and psychiatrists where they shared their concerns and challenges, while the experts offered their perspectives and possible solutions. The cultural presentation by the special children of Manovikas Kendra, including a delightful Talbadya performance, was another memorable part of the programme.
Overall, it was a highly enriching and thought-provoking experience that provided valuable insights into the concerns of teachers, students and parents and encouraged all to reflect on practical ways of supporting children within the existing educational framework.
