Teachers and students from the Connect Club of Modern High School for Girls visited Navanir, a home for the aged on 3rd October, 2026. It was an extremely heartwarming experience as the students presented Eastern dance and song performances along with a quiz on Bengali serials and old Hindi movies, that brought a smile on the faces of the elderly who participated and enjoyed themselves.
The residents were presented with goodie bags on the occasion of Durga Puja which contained sarees, nighties, lotions, oils and other essentials which made the experience even more special. It was a unique and memorable afternoon that enabled one and all to connect, bond and spread joy all around while allowing the students to experience the joy of giving.
