On 26th and 27th of April, 2025 an overnight revision training program was conducted for the upcoming Rajya Puraskar of Bharat Scouts and Guides at the State Training Centre, Ganganagar. The workshop focused on essential guiding life skills and emergency preparedness where they revised their knowledge of pioneering, navigation, mapping, first Aids like treatments, CPR and many more important things.
Modern High School for girls held the Parent School Interaction for Classes 9 & 10 on 17th and 28th April, 2025 where members of the faculty and the Career Counselling Team interacted with students and parents to understand concerns and provide clarity about curriculum and future prospects based on subject selection.
STEAM Club members engaged in a fun “Object Transformation” activity where they transformed ordinary everyday-use objects into something creative !! We got a windmill cum solar panel, a bird feeder, a pendulum, a paper cutter and many more such amazing innovations!
Spring’25 University Fair by Campus Connect was held on 23rd April,2025 in Modern High School for Girls. Prestigious universities from USA, Canada and Spain were part of the fair. The Senior School students interacted with representatives of Full Sail University, USA, North Central College, USA, Queen’s University, Canada, Marist University, USA, Savannah College of Arts and Design, USA, York University, Canada and EADA Business School, Spain. This was a part of MHS’ active Career Counselling Department which aims at enabling students to explore opportunities and equipping them to make informed decisions.
On 23rd April, 2025 the members of the Legacy Club from Classes 6 to 12 undertook an educational excursion to the Netaji Bhawan Museum, Kolkata.
Nestled in the heart of the city, Netaji Bhawan stands as a venerable monument dedicated to the life and contributions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The historic edifice, once his ancestral residence, houses an invaluable collection of personal artifacts, rare correspondences, and evocative photographs. Through these exhibits, students were offered a profound insight into the indomitable spirit and enduring legacy of one of India’s most iconic leaders. During the visit, they engaged intellectually and emotionally with the exhibits, gaining a deeper understanding of Netaji’s extraordinary life and his pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle.
Modern High School for Girls began the new Academic Session of 2025-26 with the Parent School Interaction for Class 12 on 10th April, 2025. Mr. Ajay Sharma, Founder Director of Student Outreach was the Resource Person who provided a comprehensive view of the curriculum and the college application process.
The Guides and Rangers members of Modern High School for Girls from Classes 6 to 12 embarked upon a thrilling trip to Jim Corbett National Park 21st to 25th March, 2025. The members indulged in scenic treks through dense forests, spotting wildlife, enjoying nature’s beauty. Adventure sports like climbing the monkey bridge, going through tyres lying down etc tested endurance and teamwork. Wide games added a fun, competitive spirit, while the campfire brought everyone together with stories, music, and laughter. The trip was a perfect blend 
of adventure, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories!
An interactive Story Telling Session by Farzana Parvin was organised on 5th December 2024, for the students of Modern High School for Girls. An ex-student of MHS, she is a published author and spoke about the process of the publication of books.
Modern High School for Girls organized a subject orientation for the Class 8 students and their parents on 4th December 2024 to facilitate informed decision-making on their part about subject selections in Class 9. It was a highly engaging and interactive session where subject specialists provided students and parents with a comprehensive overview of the various subject choice combinations and their associated career prospects.
A captivating storytelling session was held at Kolkata Centre for Creativity on 9th December 2024, which was attended by the students of Classes 6 to 8 of Modern High School for Girls. The session was divided into two parts: the non-voice section and the voice section.
In the non-voice section, the storytelling was skillfully enacted by Mr. Bandyopadhyay and Mr. Das. Through expressive gestures and facial expressions, they portrayed various emotions that brought the story to life, engaging the students in a unique and immersive experience. Their performance highlighted the power of non-verbal communication and emotions in storytelling.
The voice section was equally engaging, where Mr. Zaid and Mr. Palash narrated a story in an interactive format. The narrators encouraged student participation, making it both an informative and enjoyable experience. Their storytelling techniques, including varying tone and pace, kept the students hooked and helped enhance their understanding of storytelling dynamics.
Overall, the session was not only enjoyable but also informative, offering students valuable insights into both voice and non-voice storytelling techniques. The students were able to experience different methods of storytelling, which enhanced their creative and communicative skills.
