Saraswati Puja Celebrations 2026

On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja on 23rd January, 2026 students and faculty members gathered to offer their prayers as lifelong learners. They wished for wisdom to shape their minds, truth to mould their conscience and courage to face the challenges of life to become holistic beings.

Spardha 2026

Students from Modern High School for Girls participated in Spardha 2026, organized by Mahadevi Birla World Academy and secured Second position in the Fashion event and Instrumental event in Spardha 6.0.

It has come to the knowledge of the school authorities that malicious emails are being sent, under a spoofed mail id, to guardians of candidates, who had applied for admission in the upcoming academic year, stating that a few suitable vacancies arise under the Management Quota. These malicious mails are further informing the guardians to reply to a fictitious mail id.
Guardians are advised to totally disregard these fraudulent mails.

Rangers Debate Competition, 2026

The Rangers Debate Competition was successfully conducted on 12th and 19th January, 2026 as a part of the Nipun Badge syllabus, with the objective of enhancing students’ communication skills, critical thinking, and confidence in public speaking.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Rangers, who showcased commendable debating skills on a variety of thought-provoking topics. The event provided a platform for the students to express their views logically, listen to opposing opinions respectfully, and respond with clarity and confidence.

Celebration of Vivekananda Jayanti

The students of Modern High School for Girls celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti on 12th January, 2026 through class presentations with a blend of discipline, cultural pride and deep reflection on Swami’s life. They delivered speeches, developed creative presentations and offered prayers and songs commemorating this important day. The young minds focused on Swamiji’s faith in the power of the youth, his definition of education and his ideals of universal brotherhood and unity of religions. Such assemblies enabled students to inculcate the virtues extolled by Swami Vivekananda.

Lower KG visit to Agri Horticulture Garden in January 2026

The students of Lower KG visited the Agri Horticultural Garden on 20 and 21 January 2026. They were excited to see the vast garden with its variety of plants. The children were delighted to see flowers in bloom and were able to identify some such as petunia, marigold, bougainvillea, hibiscus, rose, chrysanthemum and many more.

They had a wonderful time strolling through the garden and admiring the beauty of nature. The children also enjoyed playing in the park, which added to their excitement and made the visit a memorable experience.

Training Seminar by Japan Karate Association

Brisha Gupta of Class 8A has been selected by her dojo, Mike’s Martial Arts, to attend an exclusive Japan Karate Association (JKA) training seminar on January 20, 2026, conducted by Sensei Yuko Hirayama from Japan. This rare opportunity will greatly contribute to her technical development, discipline, and overall growth in martial arts.

Spice Club Picnic

The Junior Spice Club spent a leisurely afternoon organising a picnic under the gentle warmth of the winter sun on 13th January, 2026 with a few home-cooked delicacies and scrumptious desserts.
