From 26 September to 1 October 2026, students of Classes 9 to 12 from Modern High School for Girls embarked on an exhilarating IAYP adventure trip to Skandagiri, combining adventure, teamwork and experiential learning.
The girls participated in a wide range of challenging activities, including rock climbing, tree jumping, tent pitching, Friendship Pillar, Trust Fall, Mission Impossible, campfire and a night-out experience. Each activity encouraged them to step beyond their comfort zones, work collaboratively and develop confidence, resilience and leadership skills.
The activities were thoughtfully designed and divided according to the Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of the International Award for Young People (IAYP), allowing students to take on challenges appropriate to their level and gradually build their skills.
The trip offered the girls an enthralling and enriching experience, with every activity becoming an opportunity for learning by doing. From overcoming fears and trusting teammates to solving problems and taking responsibility, the experience helped them discover their own strengths while strengthening bonds of friendship.
The Skandagiri expedition was not merely an adventure—it was a journey of self-discovery, teamwork, courage and personal growth, leaving the girls with lasting memories and valuable lessons that extended far beyond the classroom.
