The Neil O’Brien DI Open Quiz 2026 for the Errol Cowper Trophy was held on 23rd May, 2026, at the Dalhousie Institute, Kolkata. Hosted by eminent quizmasters Shouvik Guha and Andrew Scolt, the event is regarded as one of the oldest and most prestigious open quizzes in India, with a rich heritage and a long-standing reputation for promoting quizzing excellence.
The competition witnessed participation from 112 teams, comprising 448 participants, across both the school and open (adult) categories.
Twenty students from Modern High School for Girls participated in the event, with MHS Team A securing second place in the school category.
