CISCE National Swimming Championship 2026

Aditi Srinivas won a Bronze Medal in the 4×100m Freestyle Relay, representing West Bengal at the CISCE National Games & Sports Swimming Championship 2026, held from 2nd to 4th September, 2026 at Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre, Bengaluru.

ASISC Regionals Results

In Quiz they secured the Third position in the Junior Category and the First position in the Senior Category. In Debate Senior Category they secured the First position and won the awards for both the ‘Best Speaker For the Motion’ and the ‘Best Speaker Against the Motion’. In Creative Writing MHS secured the Second position in the Sub-Junior Category and the First position in the Senior Category.

CISCE Under -19 Basketball Championship

Students of Modern High School for Girls participated in CISCE Under-19 Basketball: West Bengal where they emerged as National Champions. Sarah Tabish has been selected to represent the CISCE Team at SGFI.

Masters Women’s Indoor Rowing Event

Ms. Manisha Tripathy, a faculty member of Modern High School for Girls Physical Education Department, secured Second Position in the Masters Women’s Indoor Rowing event, organised by The Lake Club as part of the 94th Anniversary Regatta on 29 August 2026, on the occasion of National Sports Day.

CISCE ZONAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2026

Students of Modern high School for Girls participated in the CISCE Zonal Basketball Tournament 2026 from 19th -22nd July, 2026. The Under 14 team secured the Third place, The Under 17 team emerged as Runners Up and the Under 19 team secured the First position.

SISMUN 2026

Students from Modern High School for Girls had participated in SISMUN organised by Singapore International School, Mumbai on 8th and 9th August, 2026. The following awards were received by the students:

1. Samaira Sirohia – Best Delegate (Research)
2. ⁠Mehaa Banerjee –  Best Delegate (Research)
3. ⁠Aishwarya Mookerjee – High Commendation

4. ⁠Dhyana K – High Commendation
It provided essential exposure to the students enabling them to build confidence by sharpening core abilities in public speaking, critical thinking, and international diplomacy.

Melisma 2026

Modern High School for Girls participated in Melisma 2026 on 7th August, 2026 and secured the Overall Second Runners Up position. They emerged First in Eastern Duet, Second in Capriccio and Misicorium Music Quiz and Third in Bailando, the Western Dance event.

MHS Performance at ‘Morpheus South City International School Fest’

Students of Modern High School for Girls participated in ‘Morpheus’ the South City International School Fest 2026 winning many accolades making their alma mater proud. They secured the First position in Quiz, Carrom and Table Tennis. They emerged Second in Darts and secured the Third position in Fashion, Creative writing and Reel Making.

International Award for Young People (IAYP) – 2026

The International Award for Young People (IAYP) is a globally recognised youth development programme that encourages leadership, resilience, self-discipline, and community responsibility through Service, Skills, Physical Recreation, and Adventurous Journeys. Participants progress through Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels, each requiring sustained commitment and personal growth.
Our IAYP members have demonstrated remarkable dedication, consistency, and commitment, successfully balancing the demands of the programme with their academic responsibilities.
This year, Nishka Ghuwa­lewala (11B) achieved the Silver Level, while Aavishi Agarwal (11D), Aaratrika Dey (10D), Arisha Agarwal (11A), Prisha Arya (10C), Dhriti Banerjee (11E), Deeksha Rangwani (11B), and Arhaana Menon (10A) achieved the Bronze Level.
Their achievements reflect their ability to pursue meaningful extracurricular commitments alongside their studies, demonstrating the determination, time management, and perseverance that IAYP seeks to develop.
