Scribes Club of Modern High School for Girls organised a trip to the Experimenter Art Gallery on 21st November 2024. It aimed to provide the members with an immersive experience where they got to explore art through various mediums based on which the Scribes Club wishes to organise a unique literary event of the ‘Ekphrastic Challenge’ centered on the fusion of art and creative writing. The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to engage with art and develop their skills in ekphrastic writing—a literary form where the writer responds to visual art through words. By interpreting paintings, sculptures, and installations, students explored new dimensions of creativity, sharpening their observational and analytical abilities while also reflecting on the emotions and stories conveyed by the artworks.
