On 23 August 2026, students of Modern High School for Girls participated in the 5th Captains Cup 2026 – West Bengal State Championship, showcasing exceptional skill, discipline and sportsmanship. The talented contingent brought home an impressive haul of Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals across the Kata, Basics and Kihon events.
Outstanding individual performances were delivered by Gold medalists Viha Agarwal, Divisha, Prishita Mitra, Khushvi Lohia, and Devanshi Sarkar Patra, while Naavya Khandelwal, Anishka Keyal, Arohi Agarwal, Aradhya Singh, Myra Jaiswal, Aindri Mullick, Vanisha Choudhury, Parishaa Agarwal, and Dishani also secured top podium finishes. Adding to the glory, Physical Education Teacher Mrs. Rajani Mishra achieved a Gold Medal in the Masters Category – Kata.
Driven by rigorous preparation and fierce dedication, Modern High School for Girls ultimately emerged as the overall 2nd Runners-Up, marking a truly unforgettable triumph for the school.
