The students of Class 2 proudly celebrated Independence Day on Thursday 14 August with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme began with some students chosen as narrators speaking about the contributions of great freedom fighters. This was followed by singing of patriotic songs and recitations in both Hindi and Bengali. The message for both was of unity in diversity, reminding everyone that we are all united as Indians irrespective of our differences. The programme ended with the National Anthem being sung by all.
