Rabindra Jayanti Celebrations 2025

On May 6th, Class 3s celebrated the magic of Rabindranath Tagore through the eyes of our little artists! The life and work of the great poet, philosopher, and Nobel Laureate was celebrated through songs, dances, recitations and speeches.

The spirit of Tagore came alive through the children’s presentation and reminded us why Tagore remains so important even today. He believed that learning should be joyful and connected to nature, an idea that still influences modern education. His work reminded children to stay curious, be creative, and live with love for all living beings.

Even in today’s digital world, Tagore’s words light up young hearts and remind them that true learning is about freedom, creativity, and joy.

EcoBricks Workshop

The students of class 5 came together for a workshop conducted by Mrs Y Bapat, an environmentalist, on September 15, 2023, to turn non-biodegradable garbage like plastic into construction blocks. To do this, they used plastic bottles  which they firmly packed with plastic packets. This helps prevent plastic waste in the landfills and the degradation of plastics into toxins and micro plastics, which  hurts marine life when they make their way into water bodies, and endangers our health.
