The students of Class 2 expressed their patriotic spirit by putting up bright and colourful display boards based on Unity in Diversity, Salutation to Our Heroes, Our National Symbols, and some famous quotes from our National leaders. They enthusiastically explained their work to the parents who visited the school for the Parent Teacher Meeting. In another class activity, they made Tiranga sandwiches and followed it up with writing the procedure in sequence as a part of their Composition assignment. To celebrate Independence Day they sang patriotic songs, carrying the Tricolour, emphasizing the importance of the three colours of the national flag and the Ashok Chakra.
Lower KG – Independence Day Celebration – 2024
The children of Lower KG celebrated Independence Day with great excitement. They came dressed in saffron, white, and green to represent the colours of the Indian flag. They sang patriotic songs and the National Anthem and also saluted the Indian Flag. The classroom display boards were decorated with the various arts and crafts that the children had done on our National symbols.
Reading Day – Class 1
The students of Class 1 enjoyed an enriching experience of reading amidst nature on 1 March 2024. They brought along their favorite storybooks and settled down to read in the school garden. The children had a delightful time as everyone read together in silence, further enhancing the joy of reading.
Lower KG – Book reading activity – Reading amidst nature
The children of Lower KG were taken to the school garden and encouraged to read their favourite story book amidst nature. It was an enjoyable and enriching experience for our little readers. This activity not only helped the children to get an exposure to various story books but also allowed them to experience the joy of reading.

World Music Day 21 June 2024
On 21st June 2024, the children of the Junior Department came together to celebrate World Music Day with great fervour and exuberance. The sing-along dance-along session, not only included popular English tracks but also German, Spanish and French tracks – ‘Das Fliegerlied’, ‘De Colores’ and ‘Jean Petit Qui Danse’, respectively. The students keenly enjoyed themselves as they sang and danced with their friends. The musical session ended with a short quiz, conducted by the Class 4 students, that delved into various interesting facts about music.
Rabindra Jayanti – 2024
In keeping with the school theme of the year – ‘Seeking the truth, Speaking the truth’, the Junior Department honoured the timeless legacy of the great bard Rabindranath Tagore on his 163rd birth anniversary. An excellently woven recital, which included mellifluous singing, dance and poetry recitation, was presented embracing his ideals of love for nature, tolerance, empathy and beauty of life.
