Class 12 Batch Trip to Vizag 2025

The Class 12 batch trip to Vizag from 30th August to 2nd September, 2025 was a memorable experience filled with exploration and joy.  On the 31st, the students visited Ramoji Film City, followed by a trip to Thotlakonda and Rushikonda Beach, where the students enjoyed the scenic beauty and local delicacies. The day concluded with tours of the Aircraft and Submarine Museums, offering a glimpse into India’s aviation and naval history. On the 1st September, the batch of 2026 embarked on a long drive to the breathtaking Borra Caves and explored the nearby coffee plantations that added charm to the day’s journey. The final day was spent shopping for handicrafts from authentic vendors, followed by a lively dance session that brought the entire batch together in celebration. The trip ended with cherished memories, stronger bonds, and a joyful flight back to Kolkata.

CLEAN Club visit to Botanical Gardens

The members of the CLEAN Club of Modern High School for Girls visited Shibpur Botanical Gardens on 8th November, 2025. They explored the rare species of flora and the aquatic garden and gained knowledge about the benefits of several plants and the ecosystem at large.

Singapore Trip 2025

This year the destination for the Modern High School for Girls annual international trip was Singapore from 21st to 26th September, 2025. The students visited iconic places like the Garden by the Bay, Merlin Park, Art Science Museum, Universal Studio, the Ice cream Museum and many more. They went for a Night Safari and also indulged in shopping, all the while creating vibrant memories of their myriad experiences.

Class 8 Batch Trip to Shantiniketan, 2025

The students of Class 8 of Modern High School for Girls went to Shantiniketan for their Annual Batch Trip from 24th to 27th September, 2025. They visited the Biswa Bharati Museum, Srijani Shilpagram, Amar Kutir, Kopai river view point and indulged in the art and craft displayed at Sonajhuri haat where they shopped to their heart’s content.
Overall the trip was a great experience where the students formed golden memories.

Class 10 Trip to Mayapur and Murshidabad, 2025

A special educational trip for Class 10 students was organized to Mayapur and Murshidabad from 21st to 23rd September, 2025. Designed to blend heritage, culture, and experiential learning, the trip offered students an opportunity to explore Bengal’s rich historical legacy. Highlights included visits to the Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir, Hazarduari Museum, Rakhal Das Bandyopadhyay Museum, Bhagirathi Cooperative United Limited, and Barrack Square. The trip was both enriching and memorable.

Class 8 BITM Visit

The Class 8 students of Modern High School for Girls visited the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum on 14th October, 2025.  They attended a live show named SPACEtacular that provided them a greater insight into the mysteries of space.

Class 12 visit to BITM

The Class 12 Science students of Modern High School for Girls visited Birla Industrial and Technological Museum on 15th September, 2025. They took part in a science demonstration lecture on Electromagnetic Induction where they experimented and interacted with an aim to correlate the theoretical and the practical aspects of the topic.

BITM Visit of Class 7

The Class 7 students of Modern High School for Girls visited Birla Industrial and Technological Museum on 16th September, 2025. They explored the galleries based on Communication Technology and Television and learnt about the detrimental impact of the high carbon footprint that comes along with the over-usage and reliance on technology. It allowed the students to enquire and delve deeper into the present concerns related to our planet.

Industrial Visit to Parle Industries, Dhulagarh

On 15th September 2025, students of Classes 10, 11 and 12 of Modern High School for Girls visited Parle Industries, Dhulagarh, Howrah, as part of their experiential learning programme. The visit aimed to provide insight into the bakery industry and modern food production practices.
Students were taken through the entire production line of biscuits and confectionery. They keenly observed the sequence beginning with the selection and mixing of raw ingredients, followed by dough preparation, moulding, baking, cooling, and finally the automated packaging process. The precision and efficiency of the machinery, along with the strict hygiene and quality control measures, left a lasting impression.
The interaction with factory officials helped students understand the challenges of large-scale production, storage, and distribution of baked goods. The visit successfully linked theoretical concepts of food science with their practical application in industry, enriching students’ knowledge and broadening their perspective.
Overall, the industrial visit to Parle Industries was a highly educational and inspiring experience, offering students a first-hand view of how one of India’s leading brands maintains consistency, quality, and trust through its production line.

Class 9 visit to Krystal School of Excellence

On 9th September 2025, Krystal School of Excellence held a three-hour baking workshop for students of Class 9 of Modern High School for Girls focusing on hands-on learning and creativity. Participants learned to make strawberry cheesecake, focaccia bread, garlic knot, and churros under expert guidance. The workshop allowed students to explore ingredients, baking techniques, and food presentation, helping them gain basic and advanced skills in pastry and bread making. Such events at Krystal School of Excellence are designed to boost culinary confidence and teamwork among young learners, reinforcing its reputation as one of Kolkata’s top institutes for hospitality and culinary arts. Exposure to real-world baking inspires students who may want to pursue a professional future in patisserie or hotel management.
