Bulbul Trip 2023

A Bulbul camp was organised after almost three years. The entire week before the camp, the excited bulbuls packed, unpacked and packed again. On Saturday morning, 18th November 2023, they all reached school much before time! Everyone was excited to see Mrs. Confectioner, waiting to see off the bulbuls on their first overnight trip. The bus ride was smooth and singing all the way they reached Burul sooner than expected.

There was a series of activities lined up, like the blindfolded taste game and Kim’s game, followed by lunch. They were taken on a trail on a rocky path. A lantern was released in the sky while the bulbuls shouted ‘MHS’. In the evening, the children wore ethnic clothes and sang and danced around the campfire in the garden.

On Sunday morning, at sunrise, the children practised yoga and before breakfast, went for a walk. Breakfast was followed by a  knotting session. After lunch, the bulbuls distributed the ‘thank you’ cards that they had made earlier for the resort employees who made their stay comfortable. The adventurous weekend matched the expectations, where all learnt, played and had plenty of fun.

It was a memorable trip for the bulbuls as they learnt how to be independent and responsible.
