Brisha Gupta of Class 7B participated in the National Kickboxing Championship in Mumbai from the 27th of March to the 31st of March 2024 and won the silver medal in the U-15 category.

Anvi Rungta, of Class 7 B, & Nishka Ghuwalewala of Class 9 D undertook a trekking expedition to the base camp of Annapurna Base Camp at a height of 4130 meters, from 9th March to 17th March 2024. There she unfurled the school flag of Modern High School for Girls and made us proud.

Aarfa Bham and Rishmita Brahmachari—Class 12 B took part in the magazine cover design conducted by ISDI.
They won the first prize in the manga style.

MHS was the champion after beating St. Teresa’s School in the finals.

National Kickboxing Championship
Brisha Gupta, a Class 6 student of Modern High School for Girls, has participated in the National Kickboxing Championship as a part of the West Bengal Team. It was held over three days from 18th to 21st August, 2023. She has won a gold medal and a silver medal in two Under 12 categories and is the first person from Bengal to win two medals in the National Championship.

National Cooking Competition
Saanvi Fatehpuria, a Class 8 student of Modern High School for Girls, participated in the National Cooking Competition organised by Heritage Girls’ School, Udaipur, and secured third position in the ‘Desserts’ category. The participants were judged by celebrity chef Vicky Ratnani, Ravish Mishra, the executive chef of Leela Palace, Udaipur, and Mr. Tushar Bhandari, the CEO of the Heritage Group. She won the medal by presenting a Biscoff Thandai Cake, a fusion cake that incorporated both traditional and Western elements. It was a perfect hands-on experience for the young chef, where she learned professional plating as well as the employment of all five senses while cooking with a variety of ingredients.
Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav Quiz
Tanishka Sinha – Class 10 C, Aratrika Banerjee – Class 9 D, and Ashmita Ray Bhowmick – Class 10 B bagged the first runner-up prize. MHS took part in the Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav Quiz, held on 7th August 2023 in Victoria Memorial Conference Hall. It was conducted by the Activity Club of Victoria Memorial Hall for the students of classes 9-12.
