The students of Modern High School for Girls participated in Bosco Fest 2025 organised by Don Bosco, Park Circus on 12th July, 2025 and were declared the BEST SCHOOL.
MHS secured the First position in Art and Graffiti (Junior), Quiz, Tug of War, Karate (Junior), Cyberhunt, Nova GL 60 and Melodia. They won’t the Second place in Ad Spoof and Table Tennis ( Senior Girls). MHS received the Third position in Hindi Creative Writing, Face Off, Unconventional Games and Jukebox.
The Senior Inter- House Debate 2025 of Modern High School for Girls was conducted on 5th July, 2025 with Orchid House emerging as the winner and Jasmine House as the Runners up. The topic for the final round was ‘Censoring content on Social Media is a breach of the Freedom of Speech and Expression ‘. Jasmine’s Dhyana K of Class 10 was declared the Best Speaker.
Students of Modern High School for Girls participated in ‘Morpheus’ the South City International School Fest 2025 and secured the Overall First Position winning many accolades making their alma mater proud.
The list of events participated in and the position secured are as follows:
1st in Debate, English Creative Writing, Basketball, Football, Fireless Cooking, Vlogging, Ad Spoof and Shark Tank.
2nd in Badminton, Quiz and Bengali Creative Writing.
3rd in Eastern Dance, Western Dance, Coding Jam and IPL Auction.
The Inter-House Table Tennis Competition for students of Classes 9 to 12 of Modern High School for Girls was held on the 1st and 2nd July, 2025. The final match was a thrilling contest between Orchid House and Rose House. Orchid House emerged victorious in the final. Participants from the winning team included: Myra Asif, Sonakshi Roy, Avika Mohta and Sarah Tabish.
The Inter-House Table Tennis Competition for students of Classes 6 to 8 was held on the 23rd and 24th June, 2025. The final match was a thrilling contest between Gulmohar House and Champak House. Gulmohar House emerged victorious in the final. Participants from the winning team included:

Modern High School for Girls represented by Gayatri Sriram , Ishanvi Jalan , Aditi Srinivas and Srinija Chatterjee participated in the 50th All India Inter School Regatta -2025 and won the Silver medal in the Senior Girls Fours category.
In the 21st Bengal Rowing Club Students Rowing Championship, Gayatri Sriram , Ishanvi Jalan , Anandi Chowdhury and Aditi Srinivas won the Gold medal in the Senior Girls Coxed Fours event winning the prestigious M. P. Birla Rolling Trophy . They also won the Silver medal in the Senior Girls Indoor Rowing event .
The Inter School Basketball Tournament 2025 was organised by WBAWB. Modern High School for Girls participated in Mini, Junior & Senior categories and emerged as 1st Runners Up in the Juniors category where they played semi finals in the Senior category.
The Basketball team of Modern High School for Girls secured the 1st Position in Youthpia 2025 Basketball Tournament defeating 10 teams from other esteemed schools in Kolkata on 24th April, 2025.
Ayanah Gupta of Modern High School for Girls had participated in the 68th National School Games, organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), in the Football U-19 age category. Her dedication and commendable performance is truly appreciable.
