Saanvi Fatehpuria – Class VII A has won 2 National Silver Medals – Team Silver in Dressage and Team Silver in Jumping at the Junior National Equestrian Championship held in Bangalore.

 

Dipeeta Das Mukherjee secured the sixth rank in the West Bengal State Level Grand Finale of the Wiz National Spelling Bee Competition.

MHS was the runner-up in Kick Start 2019, the Under 17 Inter-school Football Tournament organised by The Newtown School.

MHS was the runner-up in the Inter School Basketball Meet which was organised by MP Birla School.

16th Udbhav Utsav International Dance and Music Festival organised by Greenwood Public School, Gwalior

MHS placed first in the March Past event by performing a Dhunuchi Dance.

Some of the winners of X-Ullash, a Bengali fest organised by St. Xavier’s Collegiate School.

 

Winners at Prabrit, an Inter-School Bengali Cultural meet organised by St.Thomas’ Girls’ School Khidderpore.

 

 

 

The Modern High School for Girls contingent, which represented Bengal and the northeastern region of India, performed very well in the CISCE national school games held at Bangalore.

Vedika Himmatsinghka – Class IX A and Radhika Jhunjhunwala – Class X D took in the U-19 Category Girls, where Vedika won 2 bronze and 1 silver medal, and Radhika stood fifth in both her events. The U-19 Bengal team was declared the overall champion, with both the girls contributing big points.

The U-17 girls category was represented by Aishani Sarkar—Class VII C.  U-17 girls from Bengal were in the 3rd position.

U – 14 girls were represented by Anshika Sarkar, Class IX B, and Prathna Rai, Class VII D.  U – 14 girls from Bengal were in the 3rd position.

 

•  Vedika Himatsingka – Class IX A – 1st in 100 freestyle & 4th in 50 fly

•  Radhika Jhunjhunwala – Class X D- 4th in 400 freestyle

•  Aishani Sarkar – Class VII C – 2nd in 400 freestyle & 3rd in 200 breaststroke

Saanvi Khanna – Class IX A and Prena Mukherjee – Class VII C represented West Bengal in the U/19 Girls Category and were placed 1st in the group event in the CISCE Chess Nationals.
