On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, the Upper Primary Department of our school came together to celebrate World Music Day with a vibrant showcase of talent, creativity and enthusiasm. Through music, dance and interactive activities, our students displayed remarkable confidence, teamwork and stage presence.

The programme featured a variety of engaging performances.  Class 3 delighted the audience with a joyful rendition of Toca Toca, while Class 4 presented a lively performance of Everything at Once. Class 5 impressed everyone with an energetic dance and hula-hoop act. Students also participated in the interactive Musical Passport trivia game, which introduced them to musical traditions from around the world.

Adding to the fun was the humorous Long Word Song comedy act, which kept the audience thoroughly entertained. A spirited performance of Dai Dai brought the excitement of football to the stage, while a captivating body percussion rendition of Wellerman, performed by students and teachers, showcased impressive rhythm, coordination and collaboration. The celebration concluded with a lively song-and-dance finale that had everyone swaying to the music.

Filled with music, laughter and creativity, the event was a joyful reminder of music’s unique power to connect, inspire and bring people together.
