Smt. Nirmala Birla is the Chairman of the Governing Body (Managing Committee).
Srimati Nirmala Birla keeps an extremely low profile. She is the daughter-in-law of Smt. Rukmani Birla, our founder. Other than Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata, she looks after the following organizations:

She also overlooks the care of several landmark temples across India. She has recently instituted the G P.Birla Educational Foundation, Kolkata, which grants scholarships to meritorious and needy students.
The Governing Body (Managing Committee) comprises the President/Chairperson, the Secretary and the Joint Secretary. At present the Director is the Secretary and the Principal is an ex-officio member.
Other members include parents, teachers, doctors, lawyers and eminent academicians.
