Modern High School for Girls participated in ‘Water We Want’ Contest, a global competition focusing on water and arts, organized by the Global Network of Water Museums under the auspices of UNESCO.
The photograph clicked by Mariam Saba , a Class 12 student made it to the top 6 from India and received a special mention in the global competition.

Celebration of International Yoga Week

Students of Classes 6 to 12 at Modern High School for Girls celebrated International Yoga Day through a week-long Yoga Week observed during their Physical Education classes.
Throughout the week, students actively participated in yoga sessions that began with warm-up exercises to prepare the body for performing basic to advanced yoga asanas. They practiced asanas such as Utkatasana, Trikonasana, Ardha Chakrasana, Vajrasana, Padmasana, and relaxation poses like Sukhasana.
Alongside the physical practice, students were also taught about the benefits and contraindications of each asana, promoting safe and mindful yoga habits.
The main objective of celebrating Yoga Week was to create awareness about the connection between the body, mind, and soul, and to encourage students to adopt yoga as a part of their daily lifestyle for holistic well-being.

CISCE Zonal Roller Skating Championship 2026

Students from Modern High School for Girls participated in the CISCE Zonal Roller Skating Championship 2026 and the following students qualified for the Regional Level Championship.
Ishanvi Dhelia (Class 3D) secured the 2nd Position in 500m, Amna Maryam Ismail (Class 10B) secured the 2nd Position in 1000m and Gauri Mehta (Class 7D) secured the 2nd Position in 1000m.

Jubilare 2026

Students of Modern High School for Girls participated in Shri Shikshayatan School fest ‘Jubilare 2026’ on 8th May, 2026 in which they secured the Second Runners Up position in ‘Serve It Right’ and ‘Colour Splash’.

22nd Inter-School Rowing Regatta by Bengal Rowing Club

Students from Modern High School for Girls participated in the 22nd Inter-School Rowing Regatta by Bengal Rowing Club on 14th June , 2026 and won a Gold Medal in Junior Indoor Rowing and 2 Silver Medals in Senior Coxed Fours and Junior Double Sculls doing their school proud!

 

Interface 2026

Students of Modern High School for Girls participated in ‘Interface’ 2026 from 17th to 20th June, 2026 in the BSS fest and was declared the overall Second Best School. MHS secured First position in Cooking with Fire and Data Detective.
MHS placed Second in Basketball, Ad spoof, ⁠Tug of war, Radio Jockey, Treasure Hunt and Ultimate Fitness. MHS came Third in Hackathon and ⁠Skating.
