FD Studio
The fashion designing studio is a space that fosters creativity, organization, and collaboration, featuring a combination of functionality and aesthetics,
with a focus on natural light, comfortable seating, and ample storage for fabrics and materials. It is equipped with workstations with designated specific areas for sketching, draping, and computer work, ensuring adequate space and lighting for each task. It also has a functional workspace for computer-aided design (CAD) and other digital tasks, with high-speed internet and reliable printers.
CCTV Surveillance System
The school is under CCTV surveillance & 24×7 Security Guards to take care of the safety of students.
Library
The school boasts of a well-stocked library to cater to its students. It is well equipped with books, numerous magazines, journals and newspapers to browse through. It has an excellent collection of latest reference books for Competitive Entrance Examinations.
Canteen Facility
At MHS, our canteen is more than just a place to eat — it’s a space where students can enjoy nutritious, hygienic, and delicious meals in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our menu is carefully planned to include a variety of wholesome options that cater to different dietary needs and preferences that prioritize quality and balance.
Music Room
The music room is a dedicated space designed for learning, rehearsing and performing music, equipped with instruments such as guitar, drum set, piano and synthesizer.
Art Room
The art room is a space for creative expression, learning, and collaboration, fostering both artistic skills and a sense of community. This room serves as a classroom where students learn about art history, techniques, and principles, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of art and allows them to experiment with different mediums. It is equipped with sturdy workstations where multiple groups of students can work in the same space, display areas and computers, projectors, and other technology that can be used to enhance learning and teaching in the art room.
Computer Lab
Two fully air-conditioned computer labs with 1:1 computer for every student and fast Wifi connection ensures optimum learning environment.
Internet and WiFi
In today’s digital age, reliable internet and WiFi facilities are essential for seamless communication, information access, and improved productivity. Our institution provides high-speed internet and WiFi facilities to support the diverse needs of our students, faculty and staff.
High speed internet and secure WiFi network with wide coverage and technical support enhances their overall experience, enabling users to work efficiently, access online resources, research and collaborate thus enhancing the educational experience.
Infirmary
At MHS, the well-being of every child is a top priority, especially when they are feeling unwell. They are provided with a fully equipped infirmary designed to meet every need during times of illness or injury such as beds, wheelchairs, oxygen cylinders and other essential amenities. A detailed record of administered medication, including dosage and time is also maintained. The in-house nurses bring a compassionate touch along with their professional expertise. It is a safe space where the students feel cared for. In case of an emergency, the staff act swiftly, the parents are immediately informed and kept updated throughout the entire process.
Home Science Lab
The Home Science Laboratory is a dynamic space where students learn essential life skills through practical experience in areas such as nutrition, health, child development, and home management. Our lab is equipped with modern facilities such as cooking stations with gas burners and safety equipment, baking and refrigeration units and other resources that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-life situations. From cooking nutritious meals to managing household budgets and understanding textile care, students gain valuable practical skills that prepare them for everyday challenges. It is aimed at skill development and career readiness in a safe and supervised environment.
School Garden
The school garden is a vibrant, green space that brings learning to life. It serves as a living classroom where students explore nature, practice sustainability, and develop a deeper appreciation for the environment. Our garden promotes sustainability through composting, water conservation, and organic farming techniques. Students actively participate in green initiatives that align with our school’s commitment to environmental stewardship. It also offers a peaceful retreat for relaxation and creative expression. It’s a space where students can connect with nature, reduce stress, and find inspiration. The garden provides hands-on opportunities for students to learn about plant life, soil science, ecology, and nutrition. It also provides space for Basketball, Football and other sporting and athletic events.
Planetarium
MHS is the sole school in the city that boasts having a planetarium devoted to popular education and entertainment in astronomy and related fields, especially space science.
Fire Safety Devices
Fire fighting facilities are a crucial aspect of school safety. By investing in fire safety measures, the school ensures a safe and secure environment for students, teachers, and staff. Regular maintenance, inspections, and training are carried out to ensure that fire fighting facilities are effective in case of an emergency. The school has made provisions for strategically located fire extinguishers, fire alarms and detection systems, fire sprinkler systems, clearly marked emergency exit routes and regularly conducted drills to ensure that students and staff can evacuate quickly and safely.
DEN
To overcome challenges to mental health and ensure academic success, MHS offers special rooms for Diverse Educational Needs where special educators collaborate with teachers to formulate individualized educational plans (IEPs) and provide support both in classrooms and in individual or small group sessions.
Science Labs
The Biology, Physics and Chemistry laboratories are a hub of exploration, innovation, and discovery. Designed to ignite curiosity and promote hands-on learning, our labs provide students with the tools and environment to experiment, observe, and understand the wonders of science. Our well-equipped laboratories offer a safe and stimulating space for practical learning. Our labs support interdisciplinary approaches, collaborative projects, research activities, and science fairs.
