Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, Kolkata conferred the prestigious ‘Shiksha Samman’ to 20 teachers across West Bengal in a ceremony on 6th September, 2025. Mrs. Sharmila Jalan, a faculty member of Modern High School for Girls and an acclaimed writer, was one of the recipients.
