Modern High School for Girls celebrated Children’s Day with colour, cheer and creativity across the Junior Department..

The festivities began on 13th November for the Nursery to Class 2 students, who arrived in bright coloured clothes, bubbling with excitement. Their day was packed with games, joyful classroom activities and a much-awaited surprise—their teachers took the stage with a delightful performance that had the little ones clapping and giggling throughout. Every child went home beaming, carrying a recycled-paper notepad and crayons as a special Children’s Day gift.

The celebration continued on 14th November for the Upper Primary students, who walked in dressed vibrantly for a day of fun. The senior school students had thoughtfully planned a lively fete with games and food stalls, adding plenty of sparkle to the morning. A major highlight was the teachers’ programme—teachers transformed into beloved characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Harry Potter and many more, performing a hilarious skit titled “The Magical Class of Fairyland School” followed by a high-energy dance that had students cheering loudly.

Adding a meaningful, eco-friendly touch to the celebration, the Upper Primary students crafted recycled paper bags for all the children of the Junior DepartmentThe paper bags had recycled notepads and pens packed for them. This thoughtful gesture made the event even more memorable.

Laughter, imagination and the joy of giving filled the campus—making Children’s Day 2025 a celebration the students will treasure for a long time!
