The senior school students had thoughtfully planned a lively fete with games and food stalls, adding plenty of sparkle to the morning. A major highlight was the teachers’ programme—teachers transformed into beloved characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Harry Potter and many more, performing a hilarious skit titled “The Magical Class of Fairyland School” followed by a high-energy dance that had students cheering loudly.

Mrs. Islam emphasized the four essential C’s that play a vital role in every classroom — Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication and Collaboratio
The session was lively and full of hands-on activities that brought laughter, reflection and meaningful discussions. Each activity encouraged us to think differently and helped us understand how to nurture the 4 C’s in our students every day.
The workshop served as a meaningful reminder that as educators, we are not just imparting knowledge but also inspiring young minds to think, create, connect and grow together

As part of our ongoing commitment to the Professional Development of our teachers, the Junior School organised an Interactive Session on Nurturing Teachers’ Wellbeing which was conducted by Dr. J R Ram, an eminent psychiatrist of Kolkata.
The insightful session provided a reflective space for educators to focus on their own mental and emotional health—an often overlooked area in our busy schedule. Dr. Ram addressed issues like triggers for stress, coping mechanisms, balancing workload, time management, mindfulness and other factors leading to anxiety, burnout and depression.
The interactive session, enriched with relatable examples and gentle humour was both engaging and eye-opening. It was an enriching experience that reminded us that caring of our students begins with caring for ourselves. As educators, we felt empowered with practical tools, renewed purpose and a deeper understanding of our own well-being.

‘Blue Day’ was celebrated by the children of Lower KG in school on Friday, 4 July 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. They all came to school excited, dressed up in different shades of blue with matching accessories. The teachers were also dressed in blue! The classrooms too looked bright and colourful, decorated in different shades of blue.
The children were engaged in various fun-filled activities which included art and craft, hopscotch, balancing on a plank, feeding the shark, catching the blue fish, winding the wool activity, etc. All these activities were aimed to improve their motor skills, listening skills, balance, concentration, creativity and hand-eye coordination. It also encouraged teamwork as the children cheered for their friends and enjoyed participating together.

Our classrooms danced to the rhythm of joy and echoed like little concert halls. It was a day when books took a backseat and beats took the spotlight. Class 2 students brought different musical instruments like keyboard, guitar, mouth organ, xylophone, etc and created their own class band. A body percussion game to the tune of ‘Bella Ciao’ was played which helped them understand rhythm and beats. Worksheets were also done to enhance their understanding about different instruments played all over the world.
World Music Day reminded us that music has no boundaries – it connects us, heals us and makes our world brighter.

The youngest members of the MHS family – the children of Nursery celebrated World Music Day with a lot of enthusiasm. They danced and sang to various songs sung by the music teacher. They also enjoyed playing with the various musical instruments like xylophone, maracas, drums, tambourine, flute etc. The celebration was filled with melody and rhythm and created a lively atmosphere in the class.

The students of Class 2 celebrated International Yoga Day with calm minds, stretched bodies, and cheerful hearts. The students had special yoga sessions where they did yoga asanas and poses like butterfly pose, vrikshasana, Dhanurasana, and learnt the benefits of yoga.
