Enlivened were the students of Class 4 on knowing they would visit BITM. On 25th June it was their time to learn about satellites. Students knew about the earth’s gravity, and they further learnt how objects can go beyond gravity to reach space. The function of liquid nitrogen and the importance of the ozone layer was explained to the students by performing experiments using objects like balloons, balls and light. The students also learnt a new term – escape velocity. It was an exciting learning experience.
