Deutsch DialogTreff

In yet another session of the “DeutschDialogTreff,” which aimed to provide a unique opportunity for German language students to enhance their language speaking skills in an informal setting, some students from Class 9.

“DeutschDialogTreff” is designed to offer students a platform to practice speaking German outside the traditional classroom environment. They got a chance to meet and engage with their peers, thereby improving their speaking abilities and social skills. The session covered a range of interesting topics tailored to different age groups and interests.

Class 12 PSI 2025

Modern High School for Girls began the new Academic Session of 2025-26 with the Parent School Interaction for Class 12 on 10th April, 2025. Mr. Ajay Sharma, Founder Director of Student Outreach was the Resource Person who provided a comprehensive view of the curriculum and the college application process.

 

                           

Neera Karmakar – Class 10 and Saraa Karmakar – Class 6

Neera Karmakar of Class 10 and Saraa Karmakar of Class 6 of Modern High School for Girls successfully completed a trek to Deoria Chandrasila in Uttarakhand in April, 2025. Both the sisters are trekking enthusiasts and summited the Chandrasila top at 12,083 feet.

ANNUAL GUIDE CAMP TO JIM CORBETT

The Guides and Rangers members of Modern High School for Girls from Classes 6 to 12 embarked upon a thrilling trip to Jim Corbett National Park 21st to 25th March, 2025. The members indulged in scenic treks through dense forests, spotting wildlife, enjoying nature’s beauty. Adventure sports like climbing the monkey bridge, going through tyres lying down etc tested endurance and teamwork. Wide games added a fun, competitive spirit, while the campfire brought everyone together with stories, music, and laughter. The trip was a perfect blend of adventure, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories!

 

Palak Roy

Palak Roy of Class 6 of Modern High School for Girls has been awarded the Dolly Kaur Trophy for the Best Sportsperson for the Session 2024-25.

She has won the Bronze in 100m in CISCE Athletic Meet and participated in the Nationals as well. She also represented South Kolkata District at 68th West Bengal State School Games’24 in Atheletics Under 14 Girls category and won the Gold medal in 4X100m Relay.
