In a tough competition among more than 250 teams from all over India, Modern High School was among the 24 teams that qualified for the semi finals of the IIT Kharagpur Young Innovators' Program 2017.

Achievements of Aishani Sarkar in Swimming

Aishani Sarkar of Class V D represented Calcutta Club  in the TICCT meet , an inter club swimming competition involving The Calcutta Club,The Tollygunge Club,Calcutta Swimming Club and the Saturday Club. She was awarded four trophies  :-(i)   The Best Swimmer (Girls D Division)(ii) Winner of the individual medley (Girls D Division)(iii) Captain T Mukherjee  Memorial Trophy : Highest number of points accrued by a swimmer in the meets.(iv) Captain P T Basu Memorial Trophy (Swimmer having the highest average points multiplied by the participation factor ( no of events in which the swimmer participated / number of events ))She was also a bronze medalist in the State Swimming Championship held this year in the event, 4 x 50 meters individual medley.
