Onergy Solar conducted a workshop through its 'ONergising Educational Institutions' programme for MHS. The objective of the workshop was to create awareness and bring sensitivity about Energy and Environment in an interactive way. The workshop was conducted along with Clean Club Members and their Advisors.
Dr. Tapati Ghosh from the Centre for Contemporary Communication supported by the German Consulate of Kolkata met the Clean Club members on 16th August. They discussed programmes to raise social awareness regarding climate change in Kolkata and the necessity to plant more trees. The Club members planted 2 Chinese Tagors in the school garden as symbolic gesture of their contribution towards a greener Kolkata.
Class VIIIs took part in a Patachitra Workshop. 6 artisans from Pingla, Mednipur conducted the workshop. The artisans displayed their patachitra and other artwork. They also sang ballads to narrate the stories depicted in their patachitras. The artisans then interacted with the students to help them create their own patachitras
