Ms. Asmita Chatterjee, Alumna of Modern High School for Girls (Batch 2004)  joined the Teaching Staff of MHS shortly after her post graduation from Jadavpur University. Among other subjects, Asmita teaches German.

Asmita had started learning German from the Goethe Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan, Kolkata on her own initiative. She secured a number of scholarships including internships in Germany.  Recently she has topped the C1 Level language proficiency in Kolkata.
